Welcome to the story
Another World is is a multi-genre Live Action RolePlay experience (LARP). Multi-genre means that some locations may have a different aesthetic but maintain the same game mechanics. Beta Launch occurs in a high fantasy aesthetic. You don’t need to arrive in full fantasy garb, your street clothes will do. Another World is a discovery LARP, you learn the rules and lore of the world as you play, allowing you to evolve your costuming and your character as you learn more about the world.
A Mysterious World
You will learn Another World as you play. Its peoples, politics, landscapes and magic will reveal themselves as you solve the many mysteries of the world. Another World is made of mysteries for you to unlock. Everything you can do, the abilities you can gain, the possibilities for adventure all wait for you to unlock them. As you unlock more knowledge or solve the world’s puzzles you will gain access to the information you unlocked in The Athenaeum after the event. This evolution of knowledge about the world and the possibilities for your character are the core of a discovery LARP. While you will learn as you play there are a few things that are helpful to understand about the world before you enter.
